I voted!

I finally voted! It was my first time. I felt all American afterward:)! Sadly Obama won. I'm not at all excited about the coming years. It is going to be rough. But I think the people will get what they asked for. CHANGE. In a bad way. This is just my opinion and some of you out there might think differently. How far removed are we from Sept 11th. We elect a president whose middle name is Hussain. I think if a celebrity ran for president they would win too. Who needs experience right. Maybe I'll run next time around. Oh wait is there an age limit if so I will have them change that. At least I put my hand over my heart to pay respect to my country. Enough ranting and raving all I can do now is hope and pray for the best.

I'm so glad I can be surrounded by people who feel the same way! We really do live in an area of the country where people WORK hard for a living and appreciate family values. That has all been forgotten in swing states apparently. I'm honestly glad for blogging so that we as mom's in this same area know where we all stand. It's a nice little support system!!
p.s.I would love to go to lunch before Thanksgiving. Just let me know where and when.:)

I agree with your post whole-heartedly. I think many American people are about to see that the "change" they are going to get was not what they were hoping for (but they probably never knew in the first place!) At least this time it will be on the Democrats shoulders!

it's so scary when we have little ones that we worry about raising and that. Let's just hope that things go well and we can have life go on and live the American Dream....

p.s. Some lady asked Brylee what happened to her black eye at gymnastics yesterday...haha!

EXACTLY!!! Well put sis, I too think our lives are going to see a whole new life as an American under this "change". It's a scary thought, it makes me want to move up to the knolls and hide out:)

I hear ya.. I cried my eyes out election night. I'm so mad people are willing to mess with my children's future just to "make history."
