First of all I get to brag for a minute cuz I am so proud of myself! We grew a garden this year and I got to can some of the goods from it. I don't know the exact count of everything but I canned beans, applesauce, peaches, and pears. I then dried apples and pears, then I froze peaches, peas, rasberries, corn, and made baby food. It is alot of work and takes alot of time. It is well worth it though. I feel like we have some sort of start on food storage now.
My girls are so funny. Here is a conversation Taylor and I had the other day. I was exhausted and was laying on the ground.
Taylor "Mom what happened?"
Me: "Kids"
Taylor: "Oh no! I will get them mommy"
She then runs in the living room does something comes back and says this
Taylor: "Mom I got them, those kids, you feel better now?"
Me (Laughing): Yes Taylor I feel better.
Taylor: "Good!"
I just love my girls so much. Taylor is always keeping me on my toes and Sadie is just so sweet. She is getting closer to crawling but not quite there yet. One of my favorite things is in the morning Taylor will always give Sadie a hug and Sadie has the BIGGEST smile on her face. It just melts my heart! I hope they stay good friends FOREVER! That's not too much to ask for is it?

Oh cute. Good job on the canning! I wouldn't even know where to start!
I haven't canned for about 3 years so great job on the canning and growing your garden. Kids are so adorable I love then. So innocent at this age and want to help in any way. Hope they stay like that forever.
Good job on all the canning! It's always nice to accomplish things like that. Anyways my blog is off private for the time being, it was kind of a pain, but I'm going to put it back on as soon as I get some people added, I just need their emails. Anyways we'll talk to ya soon!
Nice job on all the canning! I know how much work it is; good for you!

itsnt it crazy the great kind of feeling we get from canning! I have done some this year and it is so great! Just LOVE it..so if or when the world explodes I have food for my babies!!!
:-)
Good job slaving away in the middle of canning city! Very impressive, now I just need to know did Jeremy's mom help you or do you know how to do it all on your own now? I still have Cole's mom help me, I even have to ask her how much food to buy just to even start! Maybe next year my garden will grow? Tell Jeremy he needs to just use his cell phone for his hunting pictures, you are missing out on too many photo ops!
Good job on the gardening. We were going to do one this year, but it just didn't happen. Maybe next year. That Taylor, what a cutie. Sorry to hear about all your teeth trouble. I hate going to the dentist.

Unfortantely we moved in to late to get a garden in, but my parents have a huge one, so we've shared:) I helped them do some canning the other day and we are having horrible luck with the lids sealing. Any suggestions?
