Sadie is quite the little thumb sucker. She won't do it when I am around but once I'm not paying attention in goes the thumb. I have to admit I think it is dang cute. When I catch her she will smile so huge and take her hand out of her mouth. Oh and I can't get a really good picture of her sucking her thumb because she will take it out when the the camera is around. So I caught her this morning. Her thumb is in her mouth. BUSTED! Now I need to break this habit soon because thumb sucking runs in the family. Not naming any names or anything but I believe there were a couple of you that grandma had to bribe pretty hard to stop sucking your thumbs:)!

I should have let Brylee suck her thumb instead of forcing her to take the binki cuz now I don't know what I'm gonna do! Thanks for everything yesterday I really appreciate it. I will get you that disc soon cuz we forgot to send it with ya. call me!

Oh no, that's a horrible habit...Especially when you're in 5th grade! Yes, I sucked my thumb until I was in 5th grade! Pretty sad! But I couldn't stop...obviously!
Dal is a little thumb sucker too. I'm not sure what to think about it, I'm hoping he will quit on his own. We'll see.

Seriously, if Sadie hasn't stopped sucking her thumb by kindergarten, I'll pull out the 5th grade picture of me with mangled teeth and ask her, "Is this what you want your teeth to look like? Then stop sucking that thumb!!" For now it's too cute though:) I'm going to publish this anonymously so no one has any idea who this is admitting to the terrible habit and to prevent any demands to post the picture!

Isabel just barely stopped sucking her thumb, thank goodness she stopped playing with her belly button with it! I think it's an Erickson thing! So many stories of the Erickson grandkids sucking thumbs. (Jed and Becca!) Hopefully Sadie will stop before they did, but I agree with you, it is dang cute.
Yes, thumb sucking is dang cute, but a hard habit to break! Good Luck with that. Katelyn would not take a binky and wanted nothing to do with her thumb, some people say I am lucky, at times I am, but I sure wished she had something other than a bottle to comfort her! Sadie sure is getting big!
Paige is a little thumb sucker too. It's so cute! Luckily she doesn't do it often, but I used to have to watch her sucking her hands a lot because her skin is sensitive so she gets these little rashes and it's sad! She gets it from her dad!
My sister sucked her thumb forever and it totally warped it! But it's so nice when it soothes them! she's super cute.
