My friend Cordie started this tag and I love it! So here is my story.
Jeremy and I had been dating for around 7 months. It was Spring Break and we were going to St. George and Las Vegas. Let me back up a minute. During the 7 months Jeremy and I never said I love you, never spoke of marriage, therefore we never went ring shopping. I wasn't going to bring anything up first so you see nothing was ever said. We are both stubborn I guess. Little did I know Jeremy had bought my ring in February and did a dang good job. I love it!
Ok back to the story. It is April 1st, yes April Fools Day. We stopped in St. George to see grandma and grandpa Stucki and for a round of golf. It was Jeremy, me, Brett, and Josh. When we arrived at the golf course Jeremy pulled out a video camera to capture all the fun. At least that is what I thought. I was in charge of filming while the boys golfed (I am not a very good golfer.) As we would walk from hole to hole Jeremy would ask me how much I liked him. I would say lots and lots and lots. In my head I am thinking "Yes he is going to finally say I love you. This is great."
We approach hole nine and Jeremy told me to golf this one since I hadn't really golfed. I agreed. It took forever to get onto the green. The golfers behind us were getting pretty impatient. (Jeremy tried to go and tell them what was going on, but I said don't worry about it I will hurry.) On the green Jeremy asked me where I used to live here. I turned away from the hole to show him. Meanwhile his buddy had put the ring box in the hole. So I turn around having no clue and putted the ball. It goes clear past the hole. I putt again and once again goes clear past the hole. This whole time Jeremy is following me wherever my ball went. I thought it was kind of weird but oh well. So the third putt got really close to the hole. I go to finally end this putting streak. I look down and there is a ring box. It took my breathe away. Jeremy was down on his knee and proposed. So I got my first I love you and a ring at the same time. He even had the temple reserved. Jeremy was pretty confident I would say yes. He was right.
The funny thing is, is that only my dad knew about it. When I called my mom to tell her she thought it was an April Fools Joke. She told me she had to call me back after she talked to my dad. No one would believe us. It was too funny. We have our engagement on video (thanks Brett and Josh). I love watching it. I get giddy everytime I see it. I am so very lucky to have the husband I do. Love you tons babe!
If you have read this then you have been tagged! I want to read about everyones engagement!

I still think your story is one of my favorites!! You two really are perfect for each other. Do you play basketball anymore? I played church ball the other night and I am so out of shape, I can't stand it, so I think I will run a 10k this June.
That was a very cute story, I don't think I knew all of those details, loved it! You guys are too cute!

That's a cute story! Too bad friday didn't work out. We'll have to try again another time!
I remember that so well, Colie. I'm still so impressed that Jeremy pulled that whole thing off. That's definitely one of the best egagement stories I've heard. What a nice bonus to have that on video too. Your kids will LOVE watching that some day.
That's too cute! Sounds like you got a good one! (I can't believe he had the temple reserved! That means he picked out the date too, right?!)
I remember the phone call and you stopping by in Lehi- still so shocked! He did a good job! The video is funny with your great golfing skills:) Try putting it on your blog!
I have never heard that before. That is pretty sweet. Pretty ring, so he picked it out all by himself huh? Pretty impressive.
I love your story! I didn't know that you guys hadn't even said "I Love You" yet. Wow, I bet that made it even more special :) I knew you would get him ;)
I love your story and how it was on a golf course ;) It also is so fun that you have it on tape! I wish we had ours on tape, since I am sure that the shock took some of the memorable moments out of my memory! hehe
