Yesterday at church Taylor just cracked me up. First let me start by saying this I'm one of those moms who is PARANOID about my kid catching some sickness in nursery and WON'T take my kid if she is sick and a couple of weeks ago there was a case of staff infection going around the nursery in our ward. On that note let me begin. I take Taylor to nursery only to see that a kid in there has sores all over her little cheeks. I VETO the nursery idea and take her to go to the sunbeams class. She loved sharing time. She sang and participated. Then came class time. I'm in Relief Society for 10 minutes and they bring Taylor to me. The gal says "She says she is sick."

I then look at Taylor knowing that she's NOT sick. If Tay coughs, sneezes, or whatever she always says this "Mom I'm not feeling better." I look at her and say "do you need to go to the doctor?" Her imediate answer is always NO! and off she runs and plays.

Ok back to the story. So I ask Taylor "Why did you tell your teacher you are sick?"

Her reply "My teacher wasn't fun." WHAT! I start laughing. How in the world does a 3 year know that excuse already! She has figured out that if she says she is sick that she gets out of class! That's not supposed to happen until grade school right! Just for the record I know I'm going to have my hands full with this one.

What a cutie! She is going to give you a run for your money. Unfortunately, if Kenadee says she is sick and I tell her we will have to go to the doctor, she gets excited and plays it up more... Crazy kids!

That's so funny. I didn't know you took her to primary. Are you going to try to keep doing that? Put her in with Kelsey. Oh and I love your family picture at the top, so cute!

You got to love this age! Shelby has pulled some similar things in church. Her favorite is "I have to go potty!" Now, if you ignore it then you will be in trouble, but 90% of the time she is just using it to get out of class. This last sunday Shelby was saying she had to go to the potty and she was crying (which she does every sunday right before class). Wade asked her what was wrong and Shelby said, "I don't like my teachers hair"...what!? Where did she come up with that!? We were dying! :)

HAHA SHE IS A DOLL!!! I know the feeling of NURSERY!! I'm the exact same way. I put off getting Easton a flu shot (cuz we were traveling & I didn't want him cranky on plane) anyways now it's going around in nursery and yesterday I headed right over to the health center and got him a shot!!! I'm doing pretty good... today is a good day :)

Good luck with Taylor. I agree you will have your hands full. It's amazing how smart kids are getting these days. Also agree with the nursery when kids are sick. I don't even like taking Justin to nursery if he's sick. We keep justin home if he's sick.

I hate to say that I know where she gets it- I missed a few classes with you in my day. :)

I lOVE it. Maybe your husband taught her this trick? That is adorable. They are quick to figure things out. I am with you on the sickness thing. I get really frustrated about letting kids come when they are sick.
