Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas! We had such a good Christmas this year. The girls were a lot of fun to watch. We got to spend some time with both sides of the family. The roads were horrible and we probably should've just stayed home. On the way up to Jeremy's parents house we went down a little road with drifts up to the mirrors on the truck. We should've got stuck but we didn't. Jeremy is a good driver I guess. Again we ate ALOT of food and enjoyed everyone's company. Thank you to everyone for all the gifts and fun! I can't believe it's come and gone so quickly. Now onto 2009.

Christmas Eve

The other day I just had one of those days that you just sit back and think "I LOVE being a mom1" My kids were so good and just so much fun to be around. For example the girls just love to play inside this princess tent. Sadie will always be hiding in it and Taylor will go find her. Lots of laughing involved. Please note Taylor is wearing her princess dress in this picture.
Jeremy signed up for Skype and her is Taylor talking to me on the phone. I was work and she called to tell me to pick up some oranges for her. Note here she is again in the dress. I'm not kidding she wears this dress everyday.
On Christmas Eve it's my sister in laws birthday and we all went ice skating. Taylor was so excited! She couldn't wait to get out on the ice.
She kept wanting to go so fast. It was so funny cuz she wouldn't hold her feet still and just slide. She was trying to run in the ice skates. So here is me and Bryce holding her up. At the end Arik and Ryan took her around really fast. She thought that was the coolest thing ever. Let's just say she didn't want to go home.
And here is Miss Sadie watching all the fun. She looked through the window and would get excited when we would skate by.
Here is little girl number one out for the count.
And here is little girl number 2 out for the count. It was so funny. Taylor talks in her sleep sometimes and all of a sudden she says "go fast so fast" She was dreaming about ice skating. How cute huh.
Here is Taylor with her cookies and letter to Santa. Sadie was already asleep for the night.
My mom made all the grandkids bean bags and Taylor had to sleep on hers Christmas Eve. How cute huh. We got to spend Christmas Eve at my moms house and it was a lot of fun. We played Christmas Jingo, the hat game, and had a guitar hero contest. We ate lots of food and opened some presents!

Finally Excited

I'm finally excited for Christmas. I think it had to do with the speaker we had today at church. For some reason his talk just touched me. There is a lot more to Christmas than just THINGS. I am so grateful for my beautiful family. For their good health, for my husband and his priesthood. I'm grateful for the gospel and all it has done in my life. I'm grateful for the Atonement. I'm glad we celebrate Christmas because it just makes you remember Christ and all that He has done for us!

We were supposed to go to Utah this weekend but due to the weather we decided to stay home. I'm so glad we did! I got to go to my work's company party
which was a lot of fun. Drug Jeremy around shopping Saturday morning which always is fun. The girls LOVE sportsmans warehouse. Taylor kept asking Jeremy to take her fishing. Everyone we passed just laughed. Then Sadie couldn't be more excited. She was kicking her feet and staring at all the animals. I think it made Jeremy's day. We had Jeremy's grandmas 80th birthday party too. Then we were able to go to church and listen to this talk. It was amazing to me. I just feel like I needed to hear it. So for the holidays I just want to be with family. I want to see my girls faces light up with excitement. I want to hear Taylor say "Your the best mom and I love you." I want to see Sadie smile and do her little dance she does. That's all I want and I think I will be the happiest mom alive! So to everyone who reads this Happy Holidays and I hope you enjoy them as much as I am going to!

Here's a picture of the 3 most important people of my life!

Winter Winter Winter

Here is Taylor getting ready to go outside in the snow. She had so much fun. I need to get her some waterproof gloves though. Her poor hands were ICE cold when she came back in. Taylor has been waiting for so long to go play in the snow. I think she is over it now cuz she keeps asking me when the leaves and grass come back. That's my girl:).
And this is usually the picture I get with Sadie. She NEVER keeps her eyes open for pictures. What a little cheeser huh! Oh she is so much fun. I can't believe that both of my girls are growing up so fast!

Husband Tag

I saw this on my friend Amber's blog and thought I would give it a whirl. Who doesn't love to gush about their husband:)!

5 things he LOVES
1- Hunting, Fly Fishing, and Golf
2- Miami Dolphins
3- North Carolina Tarheels
4- Mt. Dew
5- Me and the girls!

5 things on his TO DO list
1- Work (He is SO busy trying to get his new company up and running.)
2- Work out or try to.
3- Seal the shower
4- Find some spare time
5- Hang out with us.

5 Foods he ENJOYS
1- Haystacks
2- Spaghetti (This is the only pasta he likes)
3- Steak
4- Is Mt Dew classified as a food....
5- Whatever I have cooked. He isn't too picky so that is a plus.

5 Things you may not KNOW about him
1- He has arthritis in his left arm caused by a shoulder injury in high school. It's so bad that he can't wear his wedding ring.
2- He is VERY funny. He just has a sense of humor that anyone can enjoy.
3- His 2 teeth on the side of his 2 front teeth are his baby teeth. They never fell out! So if they ever do I might have one goofy looking husband because he won't get them fixed.
4- He is quite the bargain shopper. It will take him forever to make up his mind on what is the best deal for big purchases. For example it took him like a month or so find a lawn mower this summer.
5- He breaks out in song and dance at home whenever. It is pretty dang funny. He has got some killer moves.

5 PLACES he has lived
1- Rexburg
2- Ohio
3- Arco
4- Phillippines
5- Rigby

5 QUIRKY things about him
1- He HATES sweets. I know WHAT!!! But he really isn't a candy person. I guess that leaves more for me than right. He does like cookies though.
2- He HAS to sleep on the right side of the bed. Otherwise it hurts his bad shoulder.
3- He isn't ticklish at all.
4- He likes a clean house but I'm not the best person to keep it clean all the time (especially my closet.) In fact when we first moved into our home he made me a to do list. Ya that didn't last very long.
5- He gets REALLY into watching the dolphins or the tarheels play. He yells at the TV for bad calls, gets mad when they lose, gets excited when they win. It's a little ridiculous. He has their websites saved as favorites so he can check up on them everyday!
