Table Before and After

According to Jeremy I had wanted a new table for about 5 years now.  I think it's been more like 3.  But I have patiently waited and about a month ago I almost bought one off of KSL for $400 which I thought was a good deal but Jeremy said to just wait.  So about a week ago I was going through the KSL ads and what do you know there's a counter height table with 8 chairs for $100!  I was immediately call thinking it was already sold and to my surprise it wasn't.  I met Jeremy there and we took a look and bought it for $90!  I was on cloud 9!  Jeremy on the other hand just saw it as work but he's amazing and loves me lots and worked on it anyways.  Jeremy got to work and here are the pictures.
Right after we got it

The seats were all pretty beat up
And here is the final product!!!!!  I'm one happy girl.  Jeremy made up his own color for the stain it looks soooo good! I seriously can't wipe the smile off my face.  We can finally ALL sit at the table with food on it what I've always wanted.

Thank you a million times over to my hubby!  I'll be the first to admit that I sometimes take him for granted in his abilities to fix things up and make them nice.  He's one talented man!  Jeremy can figure out how to do something like no other person I've ever know.  He's a man of many traits and I love that about him!  Love ya babe!!!!  This table is PERFECT!!!

Memories

Gosh this year is already flying by!  I have to explain the picture of the table.  You see this table was our first table!  Jeremy refinished it before we got married and has been with us through every move, our girls ate at this table for their first meal,s and many of games have been played on it...esp Yahtzee!  Lol.  But you see I found a killer deal on a new table (that post will continue next).  So I had to sell this one and it sold FAST!  I  was so sad to see it go with all the memories but I'm super excited for our new table and the memories to come with it!  Anyways that's why I have a random picture of our table.

Ahhh our old table
Now onto some pictures of my adorable girls!  I know I say it all the time but I really am one lucky mom.  I will be the first to admit that my days aren't perfect and at the end of the day ends up in tears because I feel like I failed as a mom.  I think it was President Monson who said "Courage is sometimes saying I'll try again  tomorrow."  Which I tell myself everyday.  I just love how forgiving my kids are.  How would it be if we were all as forgiving as they are.  I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!!!

For Easter this year we spent the weekend in Idaho.  Here's a sneak peak of the fun we had.  Jeremy's family has something like 26 little pigs!  Uncle Chad got one out for the girls and let them play with it.  Raigen didn't want much to do with it.  She's wasn't a fan of the mama pigs.

Now lets see if I can't get a few more posts up of Easter and my new table!!!!
