Christmas

This was our first Christmas without family around and it's definitely one we won't forget! On Christmas eve we made pizza's and cookies and watch Despicable Me which by the way is very funny! The girls were super excited for Santa to come. They woke up and ran downstairs and the excitement began.

Jeremy is pretty hard core. Lol.

They LOVE their pillow pets and Raigen can't get enough of her dog.

Once we were done with presents I wasn't feeling so great so I laid down. I had the worst pain in my side. I was throwing up and couldn't even stand up straight. I kept thinking it would go away but it didn't. So about 2ish we decided I should go to the doctor but lucky for us the only thing open was the ER ($$$$ that's all that was going through my head). Off we went. Jeremy dropped me off (I didn't want the girls in there with all the sickies) and I found out I had a kidney stone! BTW a kidney stone is comparable to contractions when you're at an 7 but not comparable to actually having a kid! Just thought I would let you all know :). Great present huh. I passed it at the hospital and after that I felt great. We sure did miss having family around. I can't believe Christmas has come and gone already. Now I have Sadie and Taylors bdays coming up. The party never stops here :).

December's Events

We've been up to quite a bit the last couple of weeks. Here are some pics to sum up half of our December!
Wrestling with dad is a daily occurrence.

This is how Raigen spends most of church, out in the halls running wild! Ok the next few pictures are of a park here in Layton that has all these animals lit up. You walk around and my girls went crazy! They loved it!
This picture cracks me up. Raigen is just sat there staring up at the trex.

The girls had to get a picture with dad in front of the elk. They said it's just like the one he shot. Lol.
We got a little bit of snow yesterday (it's all gone now) and the girls got Jeremy out there and they built a snowman or 2. The second one already melted.

Taylor had her preschool Christmas program. Probably the cutest thing ever. She sings the songs all day. Taylor is just growing up way too fast!

Now to get ready for Christmas. Can't wait! Merry Christmas!

SANTA

We went to see Santa tonight. The girls have been so excited all day. After dinner I asked them what do you want to wear to see Santa? Here are their responses:
Taylor: Mom what do you want me to wear? (Still lets me pick out her clothes LOVE IT!)
Sadie: AHHH MOM I WEAR MY TIGHTS AND SKIRT AND PRINCESS SHIRT!!!!! I BE RIGHT BACK. (Instantly ran upstairs grabbed everything and ran back down naked and ready to put everything on.)
Raigen: Well she of course didn't care but I was for sure going to put her in pink :).
Waiting in line to see him. Sadie was kinda nervous. She's not a fan of real life characters.

Got them all to sit on his lap. Raigen just stared at him.
So Santa goes and asked Sadie and Taylor what they want then he looks down at Raigen and says "what would baby BROTHER want?" What the H?!? I was like "or SISTER" c'mon man she's in pink. Oh well the girls thought he was amazing. (I almost got Raigen's ears pierced still might.) Anyway after that we went and got ice cream. I love how when you walk around the mall you hear parents all over saying "Santa's watching." I use that phrase all day long. LOVE this time of year.

A little of this and that

Look who has a ponytail :) Yeah with the little bit of hair she has on top I pulled it up to see if I could do it and waaaa laaaa.
We went to Temple Square with my family and while we were walking to meet them we passed these people taking pictures and they were doing the "snowman pose." Well when I was taking the girls picture they decided to do the same pose. So here's the snowman pose.
Most of the grandkids. Missing baby stone. Funny story my mom was walking around with the girls and they came to the picture of Christ on the cross and Sadie says "Grandma that man is naked!" My mom got a kick out of that. Also they thought the temple looked like a castle.
Fun with Cala! My girls love Cala. They both say she is their best friend and are always asking me when Cala is coming to play or when they get to see her.
Little Raigen was bundled up and all you could see were her eyes and chubby cheeks of course.
And last but not least a family picture in front of the temple. Oh my family missed the lights. They turned them on right as we walked across the street. Dang it. But I'm so excited to live closer to Temple Square. We are for sure taking my girls back there.

This makes me smile

Yesterday I was dropping Taylor off at preschool when her teacher stopped me and said "She is such a sweetheart! I would adopt her if I could. She reminds me of my granddaughters." That just made me so happy. You always wonder what they are like away from home. She really is a sweetheart.
And yep she LOVES wearing this every Sunday. You ask her who her favorite team is she says the Dolphins. She is even asking for a dolphin pillow pet for Christmas :).
