Christmas

This was our first Christmas without family around and it's definitely one we won't forget! On Christmas eve we made pizza's and cookies and watch Despicable Me which by the way is very funny! The girls were super excited for Santa to come. They woke up and ran downstairs and the excitement began.

Jeremy is pretty hard core. Lol.

They LOVE their pillow pets and Raigen can't get enough of her dog.

Once we were done with presents I wasn't feeling so great so I laid down. I had the worst pain in my side. I was throwing up and couldn't even stand up straight. I kept thinking it would go away but it didn't. So about 2ish we decided I should go to the doctor but lucky for us the only thing open was the ER ($$$$ that's all that was going through my head). Off we went. Jeremy dropped me off (I didn't want the girls in there with all the sickies) and I found out I had a kidney stone! BTW a kidney stone is comparable to contractions when you're at an 7 but not comparable to actually having a kid! Just thought I would let you all know :). Great present huh. I passed it at the hospital and after that I felt great. We sure did miss having family around. I can't believe Christmas has come and gone already. Now I have Sadie and Taylors bdays coming up. The party never stops here :).

December's Events

We've been up to quite a bit the last couple of weeks. Here are some pics to sum up half of our December!
Wrestling with dad is a daily occurrence.

This is how Raigen spends most of church, out in the halls running wild! Ok the next few pictures are of a park here in Layton that has all these animals lit up. You walk around and my girls went crazy! They loved it!
This picture cracks me up. Raigen is just sat there staring up at the trex.

The girls had to get a picture with dad in front of the elk. They said it's just like the one he shot. Lol.
We got a little bit of snow yesterday (it's all gone now) and the girls got Jeremy out there and they built a snowman or 2. The second one already melted.

Taylor had her preschool Christmas program. Probably the cutest thing ever. She sings the songs all day. Taylor is just growing up way too fast!

Now to get ready for Christmas. Can't wait! Merry Christmas!

SANTA

We went to see Santa tonight. The girls have been so excited all day. After dinner I asked them what do you want to wear to see Santa? Here are their responses:
Taylor: Mom what do you want me to wear? (Still lets me pick out her clothes LOVE IT!)
Sadie: AHHH MOM I WEAR MY TIGHTS AND SKIRT AND PRINCESS SHIRT!!!!! I BE RIGHT BACK. (Instantly ran upstairs grabbed everything and ran back down naked and ready to put everything on.)
Raigen: Well she of course didn't care but I was for sure going to put her in pink :).
Waiting in line to see him. Sadie was kinda nervous. She's not a fan of real life characters.

Got them all to sit on his lap. Raigen just stared at him.
So Santa goes and asked Sadie and Taylor what they want then he looks down at Raigen and says "what would baby BROTHER want?" What the H?!? I was like "or SISTER" c'mon man she's in pink. Oh well the girls thought he was amazing. (I almost got Raigen's ears pierced still might.) Anyway after that we went and got ice cream. I love how when you walk around the mall you hear parents all over saying "Santa's watching." I use that phrase all day long. LOVE this time of year.

A little of this and that

Look who has a ponytail :) Yeah with the little bit of hair she has on top I pulled it up to see if I could do it and waaaa laaaa.
We went to Temple Square with my family and while we were walking to meet them we passed these people taking pictures and they were doing the "snowman pose." Well when I was taking the girls picture they decided to do the same pose. So here's the snowman pose.
Most of the grandkids. Missing baby stone. Funny story my mom was walking around with the girls and they came to the picture of Christ on the cross and Sadie says "Grandma that man is naked!" My mom got a kick out of that. Also they thought the temple looked like a castle.
Fun with Cala! My girls love Cala. They both say she is their best friend and are always asking me when Cala is coming to play or when they get to see her.
Little Raigen was bundled up and all you could see were her eyes and chubby cheeks of course.
And last but not least a family picture in front of the temple. Oh my family missed the lights. They turned them on right as we walked across the street. Dang it. But I'm so excited to live closer to Temple Square. We are for sure taking my girls back there.

This makes me smile

Yesterday I was dropping Taylor off at preschool when her teacher stopped me and said "She is such a sweetheart! I would adopt her if I could. She reminds me of my granddaughters." That just made me so happy. You always wonder what they are like away from home. She really is a sweetheart.
And yep she LOVES wearing this every Sunday. You ask her who her favorite team is she says the Dolphins. She is even asking for a dolphin pillow pet for Christmas :).

Silly Sadie

Have I mentioned that Sadie LOVES to change her clothes a billion times a day. Or layer them on top of each other. Well I finally got a picture of her and this is pretty mild. (And yes that is me advertising the Wii in the background. I should be getting paid for that.)
This dress and skirt are always part of any outfit. I love this kid. She really has the funnest personality ever. One day she had on 8 layers of shirts, skirt, pants, and boots. Silly Sadie :).

Thanksgiving 2010

Camera was MIA for the trip so here's a rundown. We went to Idaho for a week. There was a huge blizzard. My husband was also MIA one word HUNTING. He did however get an elk. So now I have a dilemma to eat the elk meat or become a vegetarian :). Lots of family time in and of course SHOPPING, SHOPPING, and more SHOPPING. My kids ran wild with cousins. Took the girls to Tangled. CUTEST movie ever. Made it home safe and sound. So there you have our trip in a nutshell :).

I'm so very grateful for wonderful families. I'm thankful for my 3 beautiful daughters. Taylor is so sweet and sincere. She is the best big sister and is so smart. Sadie is independent and full of energy. She cracks us up. Raigen is now walking and is our little dancer. If there is music she will be groovin' to it. All three LOVE wrestling with their daddy. Most of all I'm thankful for Jeremy. He's truly is my best friend. He's a hard working man and is always there for me. He is so funny and we are always laughing. I'm grateful for the gospel in my life. This Thanksgiving there is a lot to be thankful for. I just love this time of year.

Happy 1st Birthday Raigen

This cute kid turned one today. Man it really feels like this past year has flown by! I'm really having a hard time with my girls growing up. For example I was crying last night while wrapping her presents. Lol. Raigen is full of personality. She holds her own against her sisters and loves them to pieces. She also LOVES to get her groove on. Jeremy will have music going on in our room and she will crawl as fast as she can to our room and then stop and start swaying back and forth. Love it. Ah I just can't get enough of this kid!

With her new toy. She will just hug and hug it. And she will let her sisters know that it's her toy not theirs.
Family pic precious huh :).
Here she is practicing blowing out her candle.
Trying to figure out what the game plan is with the whole cupcake.
Figured it out
Let the mess begin

Mmmmm
Love this smile :) she was cracking up all night
And with her beautiful Aunt Lindsey! Thanks Linds for coming and hanging out and bringing your camera! (Jeremy left mine in Idaho).
Happy Birthday Raigen! We love you!

Happy Halloween

Aren't they the cutest! Of course Taylor and Sadie are princesses and Raigen is my little fairy princess! Tay and Sadie were going to be a unicorn and a cat but let's just say mom couldn't figure out how to make a unicorn costume :) so I convinced her to be a princess instead. Then when we went to go buy the crown for Taylor Sadie had a come apart and then decided that instead of a mean cat (that's what she would tell everyone) she was going to be a princess too. So ta da 3 little princesses.

We just went to our ward's trunk or treat tonight. Which I might add was pretty good. The people really got into decorating and dressing up. My favorite part was looking down to where Jeremy was and seeing some random guy talking to him all pumped that he was a dolphins fan! And Sadie wouldn't be Sadie if she wasn't scared of anything dressed up as a animal. A guy dressed in an ape suit was wondering around and I ended up holding Sadie the whole time after that. We came home and had NO trick or treaters. It was pretty rainy and cold....or maybe we are just that scary!

Preschool Program

Love this kid. Raigen has the funnest personality. Fits right in with her sisters. She is so close to walking!
We carved pumpkins the other night but Miss Sadie had to paint hers. And of course it's pink!
This is Taylor's first year actually carving the pumpkin. She was pumped though she thought the gunk inside the pumpkin was gross :). Dad made her pumpkin look pretty cool. Still need to get a picture of the finished product.

So today Taylor had her 1st Halloween program at school. She was a doll and looked so cute doing all the songs. (Note I do not have a fancy shmancy camera like the rest of the world so yeah the pictures are kinda blurry and red eyed. Deal with it :) )

Pumpkin Patch

Sadie's little preschool went to the pumpkin patch the other day. The whole way it all Sadie was singing in the back was "Pumpkin patch I'm going to the pumpkin patch!"
Here she is after she ran through the hay maze. She's such a cutie and growing up way too fast! Love those eyes :).
With the pumpkin she picked and didn't take home because she wanted a little little one. When we went to go pay for it she found a teeny tiny one and grabbed it and hugged it. Worked out great for me it was only a quarter. Sadie has since decorated her room with it on her nightstand.
With her little class. Bunch of cute little girls.

Randomness

The past day we've had some pretty funny conversations.

While driving around Jeremy farted and it stunk! The girls tell him that he needs to go to the mountain to fart with the deer.

We are waiting in the drive thru and they are taking forever. There is a van in front of us. Sadie yells "Hurry up car or I'm going to give you a big wedgie!"

Also while waiting in the drive thru (I told you they were taking forever) I did something not so cool and told Jeremy "babe if I wasn't so cool you wouldn't have married me." His reply "Nope probably not I would've gone to Boise. You kept me (long long long pause) from becoming an alumi from one of the coolest schools ever." He laughs. I have to admit it was pretty funny.

My girls are always saying funny stuff. They love to call people mookie tookie's (that's what Jeremy calls the girls.) Sadie tells people that she's going to be a mean cat for Halloween (which she's not cause she had to have a crown like her sister) then she hisses at them. Oh have I mentioned that my baby is going to be 1 in a couple of weeks!

Go Dolphins!

Yeah I know don't be jealous of my skills. Lol. I attempted to make football cupcakes today. I ended up having a contest between my sis in law Alysha and her friend Aly....let's just say Jeremy didn't pick my cupcake! Good times.
