Stitches

This has been quite the week. We have sold our home and are moving. So there has been lots and lots of packing. Well we were over to the other house and we had pulled up some carpet. The girls were playing in their new PINK room (which they LOVE) and Taylor tripped and fell. She was crying and holding her hand and I looked at it, she had landed on the tack strip and for sure needed some stitches. Jeremy calmed her down and off I went to take her to get them. (Jeremy had some appointments and couldn't come). It was not a fun experience but Taylor was so tough and only cried when they had to numb her hand. That was the hardest part for me trying to hold it together so she wouldn't cry harder. I was pretty proud of myself seeing how I make Jeremy come with me when they get their shots so I don't have to hold them down. Taylor has 6 stitches and has them for 10 days. Oh and a big thanks to my little sister Lindsey for coming with me and distracting Sadie and being a GREAT aunt.

Taylor hates when I take off the band aid but overall she is doing pretty good with them. So as you can see after the end of the month Taylor will have her stitches out and we will be all moved. Oh and the post below I'll let you be the judge of who put that there.

George Strait!!!!!!!

Back in May I bought Jeremy and I tickets to go and see George Strait in SLC for our anniversary. We headed down on Friday and met up with some of our good friends Danny and Annie before the concert. Traffic was ridiculous getting there. In fact Jeremy about killed us trying to find a shorter line. Lots of people LOVE George. We finally got there and got to hear the end of Julianne Hough. She was pretty good. Then Blake Shelton came on and he was hilarious and did a great job. Then the man of the hour came out dressed in an black cowboy hat, a blue plaid shirt, and wranglers. It was so cool seeing him on stage! We got pretty close to watch him. The bad part about all this is I forgot my camera in the car which was parked like a mile away! So we have one picture of George on Jeremy's phone. His phone died after this picture.

George sounded just as good live as he does on the radio. The man has soooo many good songs. It really was one of my favorite concerts ever! George Strait is officially my older man crush.
Here we are AFTER the concert back at the car. We had to wait awhile to get out. A big thanks to Danny and Annie for entertaining us and coming along! It was a blast!

After the concert we drove home. We got home at like 3:30am. It was well worth it though. On Saturday I went to my really good friend Ani's wedding. She looked BEAUTIFUL. I was so excited for her. I also got to see some of her cousins I hadn't seen in forever. Once again forgot my camera. I'm blaming it all on the pregnancy! Now it's back to reality. I'm just praying I make it through this month! Lots of stuff going on.

4th of July

This year for the fourth we were in Park City for a family reunion. It was great seeing Jeremy's family from Kentucky. Lots of fun, good food and shopping. What more could you ask for.

Taylor and Sadie's favorite part was riding the horse. They loved this.Emily and Arik on top of a mountain that we 4-wheeled up to.

Us on top of the same mountain. It was a gorgeous view up there. It's been awhile since I've rode a 4-wheeler, I forgot how much fun it is.Arik trying to get struck by lightning.
Chad and Sadie cheesin' it. Sadie had about had it on Saturday night so she was in bed by 8:30. No fireworks for her. Taylor and Jeremy watched some and met up with the Kunz's to do sparklers. Taylor loves Kaylee and Ashlynn. She talks about them all the time. We shared a condo with Emily and Arik and went swimming. It was a fun little get away but good to come home.

I need to put some random things Taylor says or does before I forget. Tonight I made dinner and she didn't like it so she says laughing "Mom you made something A LOT gross." To give her credit it really wasn't the best meal. Lol. Then the other day she was sitting on her toy and I asked her what she was doing. Her response "Sitting on my egg like a penguin." I have no idea where she learned that but I just had to laugh.
